Specially designed and manufactured to fit the Yamaha SR250 special (1980-1985 models).  The seat has a special formed, tough ABS base pan and a two part cast closed-cell foam interior, covered with UV and abrasion resistant vinyl. Designed in Sweden with Swedish made parts, with the covers being sewn together by a local artisan and fastened to the base by the Jadus founder himself - making each individual seat unique - crafted by hand.  (This means there will be some variation in finish but not in quality)!

This seat drastically changes the style of the SR250 and will suit many styles of custom builds.  Do not miss our Bolt On Frame Loop and Tank Leveling Kit to complete the look of your bike!  These three components together give a completely new look to the SR250.

To install the seat on a 1980-85 SR250 Special, a few metal tabs on the frame need to be removed but no major frame chopping or modifications are required.  The seat hooks into underneath the rear of the gas tank and is bolted down with two M6 bolts at the rear - Stainless Steel mounting hardware included.

The seat also fits the Yamaha SR250 Classic (and all Spanish made models) but it requires either removal or relocation of the frame support bracket - either cut and reweld or cut and use our Frame Bracket - see our installation videos for advice.

Available options are Black, Tan and Uncovered.  The Uncovered option is a blank canvas for your SR250 and allows you to cover the seat yourself or take it to a local upholsterer (yay, support local artisans!) and get them to cover it exactly to your specifications. With so many different materials, finishes, stitch styles, embossing styles etc available, the possibilities are endless. Even the foam can be cut and modified to achieve a different shape seat - thinner for a more 'bratstyle' seat, or add a foam 'race bump' for a more 'cafe racer' style seat!
