Floating Brake Disc, Prolite, Made in UK.

The goal is to increase the braking power, compared to the standard brake disc.

EBC technology uses low-carbon HPSR steel, which has a coefficient of friction, 18% higher than the rest. HPSR steel is much more corrosion resistant than conventional cast steel.

In addition, the EBC brake disc uses a 3 micron zinc layer in the finish, which protects the surface from contact with the pads.

- Brake disc made of HPSR forged steel, with very low carbon content. This prevents distortions, even subjected to extreme exertion.

- The zinc layer used in the finish, prevents vitrification, increasing and maintaining cosntant, the braking coefficient.

- The braking surface is built with a series of drilled holes,which provide, a perfect evacuation of heat.

- Zinc layer provides excellent corrosion protection.

- Anodized aluminum shaft.
